The Assistant Producer will work within a busy digital production team working on editorial, commercial and core development projects. As the junior producer in the team, the AP will take on the simpler projects and assist the producers where necessary. The AP will be expected to generate great ideas for interactive products and services, turn the ideas into sitemaps and user journeys, work with designers to create designs, write specifications for the technical development team and see the product through QA testing to completion. The AP will also be asked to update and maintain existing products, working creatively with existing Time Out content and providing new content where necessary.
The successful candidate will:
• have at least 2 years' experience working in new media or publishing regularly to the web
• have excellent computing skills - Photoshop expertise a plus
• NOT be a budding journalist looking for a way into publishing

Associate Editor
Time Out GCC is looking for a talented and experienced journalist to edit Time Out Bahrain. You must be educated to degree level and have held a job previously in a related role.
You will be expected to work independently from our Bahrain office, writing features, providing updates for the website, sourcing/managing local freelancers, and liaising closely with the Managing Editor on forward planning. Candidates must be able to demonstrate exceptional writing skills (to Time Out style), and be capable of turning around copy to tight deadlines. You will have an active and varied interest in a number of different pursuits, and be passionate about uncovering what life in Bahrain has to offer residents and visitors.
