Elysee Treaty, also known as the Treaty of Friendship, was established by Charles de Gaulle of France and Konrad Adenauer of Germany on January 22, 1963. With it, Germany and France established a new foundation for strong relations that ended centuries of rivalry between them. In order to celebrate this Elysee Treaty, a concert will be presented at the National Theater of Accra on 14th September at 7:30 pm. The concert consists of two parts. Part 1 expresses music from German Composers and part 2 shows highlights from the opera Carmen by Bizet.
