Ghana Fashion & Design Week (GFDW) is back for 2016. The international event launched in 2012, has earned its place on the global fashion calendar as an innovative platform for commerce, as well as championing development and advancement in fashion and creative business promotion and education in Ghana.

It will be held at the Labadi Beach Hotel between October 21-23. For a full schedule visit ghanafashiondesignweek.com

This year the event is themed ‘NEO AFRICA’ – in leading a new African Fashion and Design narrative. The event will welcome both local and global guests and businesses to actively connect, ignite new business development opportunities, and celebrate the important role design and creativity plays in our social setting and business space in leading economic development.

The annual international event provides a business platform for Ghanaian designer entrepreneurs, and designers in the Diaspora, alongside international designers to showcase their collections to local and global audiences, and connect to new market opportunities.

Through a range of activities, creative entrepreneurs will meet retailers and buyers of interest, influential press and media, and Africa’s fashion consumers, while creating the opportunity for international trade and tourism in Ghana.
