Café de Nachtwacht review Rate it
Totally touristy and thus thoroughly uncool, this deserves a mention for its utterly unreconstructed 1970s interior. Forget ironic retro reinventions. This is what the decade that taste forgot really looked like: heavy wood, studded leather, coloured glass and nets - even the food is authentically served on wood platters. That said, it's a decent enough spot for a drink right in the thick of it, and service is good.
