Amsterdam's top tourist market is basically a huge flea market with the added attraction of loads of new clothes stalls (though gear can be a bit pricey and, at many stalls, a bit naff). Bargains can be found, but they may be hidden under piles of cheap 'n' nasty toasters and down-at-heel (literally) shoes.
