Family-run, family-orientated hotel with 18 big rooms and a couple of smaller ones (all en suite): they’re dark, but have lovely touches like chandeliers and plasterwork ceilings. With Kalverstraat behind, it’s well located for shopaholics. But we give a big thumbs down to the weekend three-night minimum stay policy and the early (10am) check-out – hoteliers, weekends are two, not three, days long.
