Singel 13-17, 1012 VC
An excellently priced, medium-sized hotel in a 17th century house. A great location at the top of Singel makes for easy canal wandering and a short hop to Brouwersgracht and hip Haarlemmerstraat. The 32 rooms are all en suite and decoration is simple but bright. If you can, try to bag a room with a watery view. Triple rooms are a real bargain.
