A big (340 rooms) hotel with the Amstel flowing in front, the fleshpots of Rembrandtplein behind and all of Amsterdam’s attractions within walking distance. It’s a good bet for families (with rooms taking up to four), business travellers (there’s a dedicated floor with extra big desks and modems) or longer stays (ask about the apartments). Rooms are bland, but for individuality pay a supplement for a room decorated by students from the Rietveld Academie.
