Probably the most picturesquely placed hotel in town, on a heart breakingly beautiful stretch of canal in the Jordaan, Van Onna is a moment’s stroll from Westerkerk and Anne Frankhuis. The hotel is arranged across three canal houses spanning the 17th to late 20th century, the 42 rooms all have shower and toilet en suite, and the entire place is no smoking. Cinephiles and Harry Mulisch fans will also be intrigued to know that some of the 1979 movie Twee Vrouwen was filmed here.
