For what is a fairly reasonable sum, you can indulge your Wind in the Willows fantasies and rent one of two houseboats moored on lovely Brouwersgracht; one sleeps two people, the other three. Basic but neat. After all, as Rattie says, there’s nothing so much fun as simply messing around in boats.
