The most expensive campsite (although still very reasonable when compared to any other sort of accommodation) is pet-free and full of facilities (restaurant, café, shop, launderette and lockers, as well as hut-hire). Up in north Amsterdam, it’s a short hop by bus to the centre, and also well placed for exploring pretty Waterland villages.
