The small, open kitchen serves up super grub all day and night, and there’s even a decent selection for vegetarians. For hipper fare, carry on down the road to Wanka (Bosboom Toussaintstraat 70, 412 6169) – pronounced, you’ll be glad to hear, ‘vanker’.
