Brasserie De Roode Leeuw

Damrak 93-4

This brasserie is housed in the oldest covered terrace in Amsterdam. As you might guess, it harks back to classier times but what’s more surprising is its embrace of the digital age as a WiFi point. It specialises in rather expensive Dutch fare – there’s a hotchpotch festival if you can’t make up your mind – and even has a selection of Dutch wine.
