One of the few hotels to fill the gap between the museums and the Pijp, this place, though plain, functional and a tad overpriced, is well placed for culture and fun-seekers. Ground-floor rooms can get noisy but pluses include free Wi-Fi. There's also an excellent delicatessen on the corner of the street that encourages in-room midnight feasting.
