The College Hotel review Rate it
A practical outpost of the city's hotel and catering college, all the staff here are students who are training in situ. The boutique styling and glamorous touches (bathrooms are a strong point) ensure that prices are far from pocket money, however. The rooms look great, with flat-screen TVs, though some are small. If you're prepared to pay top dollar you get oodles of space: the TCH suite is bigger than most Amsterdam flats. There's also a bar and ambitious modern Dutch restaurant. The downside is that service is unpredictable.
