Winston Hotel review

Now part of St Christopher's Inns, a UK-based hostel chain, the legendary Winston still manages to maintain its youthful, party-loving atmosphere and arty rooms. These are decorated in eccentric, eclectic style by local businesses and artists, and range from monochrome illustrations from the Chiellerie gallery, to the crazed teenage bedroom explosions of Gsus Heavens Playground, to the kinky sub-dom den provided by Absolute Danny. Dormitory places are available in six- or eight-bed rooms, which are much cheaper - but also much less fun. There's a late-opening bar on site, and a good club to boot.
