't Hotel review

A stylish bolt hole on a beautiful Jordaan canal near some very nice restaurants and bars, and ideally placed for scenic strolls. This prosaically named place is fitted throughout in 1920s-inspired style: Bauhaus prints adorn the walls, the colour scheme is muted, and the armchairs are design classics. All rooms have great views, whether on to the canal in front or the garden behind, and are rather spacious. Split-level room eight, in the eaves, sleeps up to five.
