The Vakbondmuseum offers a permanent exhibition showing the progress and history of unions in Dutch history. If you think that kind of thing sounds interesting, you'll enjoy it; if not, don't make a special trip - unless, perhaps, for the fascinating collection of posters. That said, for those whose interest in labour relations is even casual, the building itself is worth a peek: it was designed by Berlage, who viewed it as his favourite, to house the offices of the country's first trade union - that of the diamond workers.
