Just off Singel, this museum to the writer Eduard Douwes-Dekker (1820-87), aka Multatuli, is in the house where he was born. The various literary artefacts pay testament to his credo: 'the human calling is to be human'. There's also a small library.

I have a large chalk drawing of woman by E. Th. Douwes Dekker, done 1984 . Maybe a book or some reference in this library about the older Dekker's descendants? I'd like to know who the woman is if I could.
