Opened in 2011, Amsterdam Tattoo Museum takes visitors on a typically risqué tour of ink-based body art. As well as extensive galleries of work by revered artists (in the form of photography as well as preserved skin), there's an extensive collection of both modern and archaic tattoo paraphernalia, a research centre and plenty more besides. Colourful postcard not enough to remember your visit by? Drop in to see one of the on-site artists.
