Remember Seinfeld's 'Soup Nazi'? Well, meet the 'Coffee Nazi'. There are many rules to follow here and the proprietor will not be rushed, but it's all a small price to pay for some of the city's best coffee - and a mere €1.10 for a takeaway cappuccino. You might want to do the same with his sandwiches, pastas and risottos.

Now I have to say clearly that I have never been there because I saw the face of the owner one time and he was not very inviting ..I like coffee so I went around the corner to the competitor..I can also confirm that the place is always empty ..sad.. maybe the owner should just retire and give a chance to a younger staff.. just saying .
Coffee's fine but nothing really to write home about and when you take into account the rude service why would you bother?
Indeed, the coffee is premium quality, however I never ever ever experienced such rudeness in a bar/restaurant from the owner, looks like no one is welcome. As soon as you enter you have to decide whether what you buy is to take away or to eat/drink there. If you decide to stay at a table, you MUST sit down immediately, as you get afraid that the owner will beat you if you stay on the way. You cannot ask any questions, no matter what the topic is. You can only order and eventually ask to pay. He's not friendly at all and he's actually a disturbing presence, that eventually ruins the pleasure of sipping the coffee. No wonders that the cafe' next to it is full of people and his place is empty most of the time. Maybe he drank too much coffee...??
Coffee really nice, real coffee in this city where they call coffee anything. The owner is as rude as nice is his coffee.
