Stadsschouwburg review Rate it
The Stadsschouwburg ('Municipal Theatre') is an impressive 19th-century building, constructed in traditional horseshoe shape and seating 950. It's currently being renovated, and will soon link up with the Melkweg. Nevertheless, in the meantime, productions by Toneelgroep Amsterdam continue to be staged here. The venue also stages contemporary music, dance and theatre.
