MR Kukrit Pramoj's Heritage Home review Rate it
These five Central Plains stilt houses were the seat of the late aristocrat Mom Ratchawong Kukrit Pramoj. A cultu-ral colossus, he is best known for his writing, promotion of khon dance, acting as an Asian prime minister in 1963 film The Ugly American with Marlon Brando, and being a real prime minister in the turbulent mid-1970s. Set by a pond in a garden of indigenous species, the house contains antiquities, photos and memorabilia.
