Canal tours review Rate it

One-hour tours show little canal life as they include Wat Arun and the Royal Barge Museum. So take two or more hours (start from B500/hr) to loop through Khlongs Bangkok Noi and Yai, tracing these former meanders of the river before its shorter course was cut. Other stops may include Wat Suwannaram and its metalworking community at Bang Bu; fish feeding.

We did the two hour canal tour by longtail boat...priced at 2,000 baht, apart from sailing through foul stenching sewage and being stuck in or waiting for the locke for 30 minutes and then subseqently fumed to within inches of our lives. I would have to say don't bother doing the tour. Stick to the dinner night cruise.
