'Disparition' ('Disappearance', 2002) consists of a series of film posters that 'illustrate' films based on scripts by the French writer Georges Perec that never took place. As if it were subtitles, the script appears on the lower part of the screen, whilst on the rest we see images taken from the press and other media. The faces of the characters have been erased. The piece reflects on the concept of disappearance and 'absence'. All references to the original image have vanished, altering the sense of reality.
