In the summer, this leafy inner patio becomes the 'Eixample Beach', an oasis for the under-sevens. There's a knee-high wading pool, plenty of sand with buckets and spades provided, trees for shade and a water tower in the centre, along with outdoor showers, changing tents and toilets.
