Also open in the mornings for breakfast, and late night for drinking at the bar, Elisabets maintains a sociable local feel, despite the recent gentrification of its street. Dinner, served only on Fridays, is actually a selection of tapas; otherwise, only the set lunch or myriad bocadillos are served. The lunch deal is terrific value, however, with osso buco, vegetable and chickpea stew, baked cod with garlic and parsley, and roast pork knuckle all making regular appearances on the menu.
