Aire de Barcelona review Rate it

Opened in 2008, these subterranean, bare-bricked Arab baths are superbly relaxing, and offer a range of extra massages in addition to the basic package of hot and cold pools, jacuzzi, salt-water pool, hammam and relaxation zone. Entrance is offered every two hours from 10am (you get 90 minutes) and reservations are advisable. If you've left your swimsuit at home, you can borrow one, or buy one for €10.

Extremely rude and non-professional.
When I tried to make an appointment with a voucher I received over a year ago, I was very rudely informed that my voucher had expired.
I tried to explain that here was no expiration date listed on the voucher before I was very rudely interrupted and told in a condescending manner that the fine print on the back says it expires in 12 months. Okay, so I understand rules are rules, but the way in which she spoke to me was very inappropriate, non-professional and makes me glad that I'm not going to waste my time in a place where they obviously don't care about customer service. Since sharing my stories with friends I have been told that someone contracted athletes foot from the bathhouse too!

I totally agree with Robbie Dempsey. Nothing special about it. Good I didn't pay for it otherwise I would have been furious for paying to sit in a shallow overcrowded and chlorine smelling pool in a dark basement. If you're one of the many pretentious people living here in Barcelona you might like it though. All shell no soul like many places in this city.

I visited today and did not find it special at all, same pools I have at any gym in town, but more expensive. Be careful if you buy this, they tell you 4-6pm or 6-8 but half an hour in advance they will take you out. In my opinion is not worth visiting...Found it pretencious, expensive and nothing special.
