Rocket 003: Derrick Carter + Onno + Dia + Robbie Akbal

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Derrick Carter first got into music at age 16 when the Chicago house scene was on fire. His sets are rooted in house, but he also takes his cues from older dance styles such as old-school disco, soul, jazz, and just about any track he feels like using in his musical aresenal. Carter is the star of the third edition of this session that is the brainchild of those behind Werk It and Wip.
