Lotus Theatre review Rate it
Formerly a strip club, this place was reborn a few years ago as the city's hottest, biggest, newest, most over-hyped nightspot. Its former incarnation hasn't been forgotten - the decor is dark glass, marble, mirrors and poles, the barstaff appear to be Playboy bunnies on a working holiday and dancers in full burlesque occasionally adorn the tabletops. Live salsa and funk shows on weekends are followed by DJs playing funk, hip hop, house and R&B.

Tried to go there last night. It didn't appear to be open ... on a Friday night. Be sure to call ahead to the clubs listed on this site. Some don't exist anymore or are not open when you think they should be.
