Manager Rashid has made such an impressive turnaround of this classic bar that these days it’s talked about from Ronda to Rio, with as many in-the-know tourists as locals and drag queens taking up space along the bar. Spanish screen siren Sara Montiel remains immortalised in a hundred faded photographs, while the exotic Arabic music mixes with flamenco.
