Situated on one of downtown Barcelona’s busiest shopping streets, this hostal occupies the first floor of a fine old building. Of the 17 basic rooms, four have en suite bathrooms. Furniture is dated, but it’s a friendly and safe place, with a fun backpacker vibe. The street is as quiet at night as it is busy during the day.
