This charming, family-run hostal oozes character, with a tiled spiral staircase and fabulous 1970s-style communal areas. The open fireplace is a luxury if you visit in the winter. Rooms are basic, comfortable and fairly quiet. If you’re after self-catering accommodation, the family also has apartments that are available for rent.

This is a beautiful hostel, very well decorated and clean. It is extremely cheap for the location, and we also viewed the apartment which was lovely too. The staff are extremely polite and I really enjoyed my stay. It is so close to La Ramblas which is very useful when you want to go out at night, and it isn't too far from the Train Station either.
