This gem of an hostal is filled with antiques, chandeliers and oriental rugs. Simple rooms follow suit,with tall windows, pretty paintwork and tiled floors. It’s worth splashing out on rooms in the refurbished wing, with en suite bathrooms, although rooms in the older wing are equally charming and some have en suite showers. Brighter, outward-facing rooms have small balconies overlooking C/Girona or bigger balconies on to a huge and quiet patio. Gorgeous and good value.
