The Florida reopened in 2003, with lavish suites, terraces and gardens, an outdoor nightclub and a luxury spa. Perched atop Tibidabo, it offers bracing walks in the hills and breathtaking 360-degree views, which culminate in the jaw-dropping infinity pool. Getting a cab to take you back from town at night can be tricky: the free shuttle service only runs until 8pm in summer, and earlier in winter (though this is subject to change).
