Parc de l’Estació del Nord

C/Nàpols

This slightly shabby space is perked up by three pieces of land art in glazed blue ceramic by New York sculptor Beverley Pepper. Along with a pair of incongruous white stone entrance walls, Espiral Arbrat (Tree Spiral) is a spiral bench set under the shade of lime-flower trees and Cel Caigut (Fallen Sky) is a 7m-high (23ft) ridge rising from the grass, while the tilework recalls Gaudí’s trencadís smashed-tile technique.
