Parc Joan Miró (Parc de l’Escorxador)

The demolition of the old slaughterhouse provided some much-needed urban parkland, although there’s precious little greenery here. The rows of stubby palmera trees and grim cement lakes are dominated by a library and Miró’s towering phallic sculpture Dona i Ocell (Woman and Bird).
