Resisting the rise of the surrounding area, this former wine bodega is un-reconstructed, dusty and welcoming, supplying students, businessmen and everyone in between with reasonably priced wine, vermouth on tap and prime-quality tapas amid the delicate patterns of century-old tiling. In summer, tables are outside on the almost pedestrianised Rambla de Catalunya.
