Time stands still in this quiet little spot, with quaint old-fashioned decor, swathes of lace and brown table linen. Time often stands still, in fact, between placing an order and receiving any food, but this is all part of Octubre’s sleepy charm, along with a roll-call of reasonably priced and mainly Catalan dishes. The beef in mustard sauce is excellent, and wild mushroom risotto, while not outstanding, is decent enough for the price.
