Still using its original art deco waterworks, the ‘magic fountain’ works its wonders with the help of 3,600 pieces of tubing and over 4,500 light bulbs. Summer evenings after nightfall see the multiple founts swell and dance to various hits ranging from Sting to the 1812 Overture, showing off its kaleidoscope of pastel colours, while searchlights play in a giant fan pattern over the palace dome.
