New promoters have taken on the arduous task of keeping Discothèque at the forefront of the A-list clubs. A snaking queue of the young and the beautiful use looks and attitude to blag their way in. Nights with names like ‘Ken loves you’ or ‘Fuck me, I’m famous’ mix up house and techno in the main room, while hip hop and R&B fill the smaller room. Projections, drag queens, podium dancers and a VIP bar create the Ibiza-when-it-was-still-hot vibe.
