While this emphatically isn’t a destination bar, it does have its own charm, and makes for a perfect pit stop on the climb up Montjuïc, with a quiet, vine-covered terrace from which to look back over the city while munching on rather basic bocadillos.

This bar, the Bar Primavera, has closed. Nearby, however, is the Bar Seco, on the corner of C/Nou de la Rambla and the Passeig de Montjuïc. the exact address is Passeig de Montjuïc 74. The bar has large, floor to ceiling windows, lots of light and perfectly positioned outdoor tables to sit in the sun. A healthy range of sandwiches is available, all made with artisan foodstuffs, from country cheeses to choice cold cuts. There's even local, artisan beer available.
