Cathedral
Pla de la Seu
The building is predominantly Gothic, save for the Romanesque chapel of Santa Llúcia to the right of the main façade. The cathedral museum, in the 17th-century chapter house, has paintings and sculptures, including works by the Gothic masters Jaume Huguet, Bernat Martorell and Bartolomé Bermejo. Santa Eulàlia, patron saint of Barcelona, lies in the dramatically lit crypt in an alabaster tomb carved with scenes from her martyrdom. To one side, there’s a lift to the roof; take it for a magnificent view of the Old City.
