Can Culleretes

C/Quintana 5

The rambling dining rooms at the ‘house of teaspoons’ have been packing them in since 1786, and show no signs of slowing. The secret to the place’s longevity is straightforward: honest, hearty cooking and decent wine at the lowest possible prices. Expect sticky boar stew, pork with prunes and dates, goose with apples, partridge escabeche and superbly fresh seafood.

had exactly what Celia had and it was probably one of the tastiest meals i've had in my life to date! Like it so much we went back the next night! Posted on May 26 2008 14:43

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch experience in this very traditional spanish (catalan) restaurant. The suckling pig was to die for and accompanied by an assortment of sweet roasted apricots, raisins and dates was an unexpected delicious combination. If you want to eat good food, dine with the locals and get very good value for money this restaurant is for you. Posted on Nov 06 2007 18:09
