In 1860 Queen Isabel II named this venerable herbalist official purveyor to the Royal Court, and called in Soler i Rovirosa, a famous theatre-set designer of the time, to decorate it. Since then it has remained a local fixture. The shop stocks a couple of hundred medicinal herbs and spices in gorgeous glass jars. You’ll also find fine teas, essential oils, natural toiletries, soaps and a selection of health food.
