One of life’s perpetual mysteries is whether Mexican desserts are any good or not, given that no one has ever had room for one. Here, for example, ‘your starter for ten’ takes on a whole new meaning with the tasty but unfinishable orden de tacos, while mains largely comprise enmoladas or enchiladas the size of wine bottles,beached next to a sea of thick mole sauce. The tequila shots and Margaritas go without saying.

Myself and my boyfriend went here for an anniversary dinner - it was raining,cold and it was close to home as we live in gracia.we got there and were told there was a half hour wait.So we put our name on the list and went to a (very nice) bar a few doors down (probably should have stayed there for dinner). When we returned to the restaurant a half hour later we got seated after around ten minutes. We ordered a starter between us, a main course each and a bottle of white.Our starter (Nachos) came after around a 2 minute wait and still no wine.We were half way through our starter when our wine came, and right behind it was our main courses.They rushed us, they were rude, and i would never EVER go back to that restaurant. This has to be the worst meal I have had in a long time. Bad food, expensive and they rushed us the whole way through. And there was queues for the place. I really can't understand it as it was a farce of a place. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Posted on Apr 11 2008 23:55

Will never, ever go back. Food was expensive, the worse "mexican" food i've ever tasted, and the aircon was so badly placed, we froze throught the whole meal - nowhere to hide... Posted on Jan 17 2008 09:37

This was DREADFUL! One would think that in a small, student neighborhood (even the taxi driver didnt know the street), the food would be inexpensive. It was cold, inedible, small portion, and the most expensive meal we had in Barca. The "Time Out" sign in the window should be removed. Posted on Nov 28 2006 08:52
