La Miranda del Museu

Museu d’Història de Catalunya, Plaça Pau Vila 3

Don’t go spreading this about, but there’s a secret café with terrific views, cheap and reasonable food and a vast terrace, sitting right at the edge of the marina, perched high above the humdrum tourist traps. Stroll into the Catalan History Museum and take the lift to the top floor. You don’t need a ticket.

Tried it - great setting. But unfortunately I can't comment on the food as we could not get any service! We went in just after it opened on a Sunday lunchtime, one table had a driink - the other customers were all moaning and looking in the direction of the 3 waitresses who were (pretending?) to be oblivious to any us all. We thought it was funny at first but after 10 minutes of enjoying the great view we left. We walked right past the waitreses who still looked righ through us! Posted on Dec 13 2007 17:50
