Somorrostro

Named after the shanty town of Andalucian immigrants that once stood nearby on the beach, Somorrostro is a refreshingly non-fishy, non-traditional restaurant for these parts. Its bare-bricked walls and red and black decor attract a young, buzzy crowd, attended to by permanently confused waiters. The food ranges from cucumber, tomato and yoghourt soup with home-made bread, to an unexpectedly successful tandoori duck magret.
