Hotel Mesón Castilla review Rate it
If you want a change from modern design, check into this chocolate-box hotel, which opened in 1952. Before then, it belonged to an aristocratic Catalan family. The communal areas are full of antiques and artworks, while all rooms have tiled floors and are decorated with hand-painted furniture from Olot in northern Catalonia. The best rooms have terraces, and there is also a delightful plant-filled terrace off the breakfast room.
