It was the Omm that redefined the hotel scene in the Eixample, establishing within the area a new breed of smart, sophisticated urban accommodation for discerning travellers. The hotel's bedrooms are light and bright, as opposed to black on black corridors, and enjoy what may well be the city's comfiest beds and double bathrooms. Moo, the in-house restaurant, now boasts a Michelin star, but there's also a bistro alternative, as well as a wine and cocktail bar. An ultra trendy club occupies the perfectly soundproofed basement, along with a spa and hairdresser, and a bar and pool area perches on the roof with views straight over the witchscarers of Gaudí's La Pedrera next door.
